Belgian Creative Studio, Soon have created this very surreal model cityscape typography for the city council of Ghent. The detail that has gone into these models is fantastic!
Some fantastic city photography from Navid Baraty. More of his work can be seen on his portfolio website.
I love the colours and focus in Pei Ling’s Small Small World macro photography series.
I have recently become inspired by a lot of lomography photos I have seen on the internet. I have purchased a simple plastic – lens camera but am yet to develop my first film. After researching into different cameras and their effects they have on photos they all seem rather pricey and so have tried to achieve the image these cameras create in Photoshop. Here is a selection of the best photos I took whilst visiting Caerphilly Castle in Wales.

As my years at uni come to an end I am currently getting my work ready for our end of year exhibition…
Open Saturday 13th June, 11am, definatly worth a trip to see the high standards of work produced on the course.
I will upload some photos of students work at a later date.
So today I have decided to enter some of my photos into a student photography competition in association with google. The brief was to submit a series of 5 photographs that could be used as a personalised google toolbar. It was difficult to find photographs that fitted the dimensions asked for (1000px wide 175px high) 6 shortlisted entries will used as toolbar images with the winner winning £5000 and a chance to work alongside photographer Martin Parr! I was torn between entering two sets but this is the series I entered…
They are a series of photos I have taken in Cardiff Bay of Graffiti and urban decay that I have carefully cropped to meet the requirements. I think the series work well together and would make good toolbar images. Fingers crossed for the result, will keep you posted
The competition will be judged by Martin Parr, Idris Khan, Michael Hoppen, Susanna Brown and Tim Marlow.
